Sundays

At Mill Woods Assembly we believe what the Bible teaches and seek to live according to it.  Each week we welcome new individuals and families into our community.

Welcome Home

Everyone was new here once. We know an unfamiliar environment can be intimidating, so we’ve got a short video to let you know what you can expect on a visit. We work to make it easy to find your way around and enjoy the morning.

What To Expect

What Should I Wear?

We are more concerned with what’s going on with your heart than what you are wearing. Wear what makes you feel comfortable! It could be blue jeans or business casual, it’s up to you.

What Are The Services Like?

During our Sunday morning services you can expect between 500 and 1000 people in the auditorium in a relaxed environment. We dim the lights slightly. You are welcome to come as an observer without fear of being singled out. Our aim is to communicate truth from the Bible in a relevant, contemporary and inspirational manner. We keep in mind the person who has little or no knowledge of the Bible as well as the ‘seasoned Christian’ as we plan our services.

Will I Be Asked To Give Money?

We don’t want you to feel pressured to give. We want you to enjoy the environment and worship experience. If you call our church your home, we encourage you to give financially to God and His church as an act of worship.

Do My Children Sit With Me?

Before the service starts, first head for a registration station where our volunteers will register your children and provide them with name tags. Parents then sit with their children in the main service. About 12 minutes into the service an announcement will be made to dismiss the children. Once dismissed, our teachers will be at the back of the auditorium in bright green vests to lead them to their class rooms. Children ages 0-5 need to be collected by a parent or authorized guardian (a unique personal code is used to match up parents and kids). Our nursery programs for children 0-36 months are open during the entire service. Children can be registered for these programs at the counter on the east side of the lobby. Parents will receive a personal text on their cell phone to alert them if their child requires their attention.
